Anna was a staff on an HIV ward in London she describes how the team looked after each other.
“It was like a little mini family. And that was great. The differences here was, it just… It was like a warm blanket being put round you.
Shared with each other
That… you learnt from each other, you shared with each other; you saw people cry, colleagues cry, break down. You saw patients die. And, so the, the impact of normalisation was really important, that you looked out for, for others, you supported others.”
